Podcasting

Blogging created the trend of having many people post their opinions in the internet for people to read and comment on them. When the internet was first introduced in the 90s, people got information from all kind of sources including blogging. As more people used the internet, more people started blogging knowing of the internets mass majority of users reading their blogs. They are informative, they are interesting, in the sense that  they were opinionated, and they are great for making journalistic appearances. They let those who are in the shadows be heard, have a voice in the matter in hand instead of having the "professionals" do all the talking. With the evolvement of technology podcasting came to be with people now making audio recordings of blogs. With podcasting being introduced, listeners got a better perspective of who they are getting their information from. Instead of blogs being read and knowing that anyone could have wrote it, with podcasts people are able to hear the person and by just listen to the voice, be able to infer what the recorder might be like and if they are, in a sense, reliable. And because they were audio files, the listeners are able to have the podcast simply downloaded into their mp3 players and be listened to any where.
